Background:

Kelsey is a New Zealand–trained Gynaecologist who is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. She is known for her gentle and reassuring manner, helping women feel safe, supported, and well-informed as they navigate their diagnosis and treatment options.

As a generalist Gynaecologist, Kelsey manages a wide range of gynaecological conditions. Alongside her private practice, she works as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nelson Hospital. She has a strong interest in medical education and is the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Supervisor for final-year medical students.

Originally from the Wairarapa, and more recently Wellington, Kelsey is enjoying Nelson’s warmer climate, spending time outdoors with her dog, Toby, and exploring the region’s excellent cafés and restaurants.

Consultation Fees:

A new consultation, or procedural appointment is $300 + GST.  A follow up consultation is $200 + GST.

There are no extra charges for standard consumables such as for endometrial biopsies, insertion or removal of IUDs/Mirenas, and skin biopsies. Procedural sedation via Penthrox (self-administered methoxyflurane) can be provided for an additional $150.

Kelsey is an affiliated provider for those with Southern Cross Medical Insurance

A referral from a registered medical practitioner is preferred but not essential.
